community project things in foods class

i like the fact that we are using class time in foods to help other people especially since we are already making food and it is far better than just making food just to try and then just throwing it away and at least this way people are benefiting from what we are doing in class and its benefiting the community

how does this impact me
i love the felling that we are doing some thing that can put a smile on some body else's face
and not like this class is useless but it is quite an easy  class (im just sayin) compared to others
but it is doing something use full that helps other people
and i like going to English class with the satisfaction that we did some thing nice for some one else

the field trip on wends day

i enjoyed going on this field trip even though we were all running around superstore like mad men looking for the price of every thing on are list. and i was asked a few times if i worked there so apparently only people that look like a mad person work at superstore.
 we found just about the price of every thing on the list accept the chives

my favorite part of this trip was just getting out of school for they class period.

butter biscute recipe

i didn't really help out with this recipe at all
we divided had divided every thing up so adam made the biscutes
well i finished the apple butter and then helped bradie with the apple sauce

but i must say that they end result was tasty especially when you put  the apple sauce or butter

apple sauce recipe

this was a quick and easy recipe. and probably one of the quickest recipes we have mad
all that it involved was peeling they apples chopping they apples and boiling they apples
with some cinnomen and apple juice


and not like i am a big fan of mushed foods but it did taste good

some thing that i liked about this recipe is
the fact that it was so quick simple and easy to make

if i wear to make this recipe again i would
let they apples cool a little more before mushing them

something that i would like you to notice that my group and i did well is
work together when making the recipe and in clean up to get the job done

apple butter

this was a fun recipe to make the only down side was that it takes a long time to cook or bake
or what ever you would call that when it sites in a crook pot all day
any way
 it was defiantly worth it because even tho i am not a big fan of pure ray food but i have to admit that it did taste good  

some thing that i liked about this recipe was.
that it was quick to cut up they eighty apples and put all they ingredients in
the crook pot. and then just let it cook for twelve hours

if i wear to make this recipe again something that i would do differently would be
make sure that adam does not put to much chives in.

we worked together with the clean up and got the job done  and got the job done

the soup that we maid thursday that i cant spell

i had fun making this recipe even though i don't really care for this soup
or any other soup for that matter

Self evaluation
i was on time and had a clean apron and my hands washed so for preparedness i would give
my self a five out of five

i worked on this recipe to get my parts of the recipe so for efficacy i would give my self
a five out of five

my group and i worked hard to gather to finish this recipe o time so for group efficacy i would give my self a five out of five

some thing that i liked about this recipe is the colors of all the vegetables in the pot

If i wear to make this recipe again i would make it more similarly to the way that my grandma makes it

Some thing that i would like you to notice that my group and i did well is
work together to get the recipe done safely quickly and efficiently

this was a simple and easy recipe to make and had few ingredients but with a taste out come

Fruit salad recipe nutrition evaluation

i found that for this recipe it has 7 full servings of fruit and one and a courter servings of a milk product

if you had this for break fast with two slices of bread and two eggs and a glass of milk it would be a really well balanced breakfast

and if you had a chicken with cheese wrap with a serving of rice and a cup of fruit juice for lunch
and if you had three servings of whole grain pasta with a serving of meat balls and a glass of milk you would have gotten your daily servings of the food groups as recommended bye the Canadian food guide

breaded baked vegetabels

i liked this recipe it was fun to make and they out come was really taste full.

self evaluation
for this recipe i was on time for class and was properly prepared so for preparedness i would give my self a five out of five

for this recipe i worked hard to get it done as quickly as possible so for efficancy i would give my self a five out of five.

some thing that i would like you to notice that my group did well is we worked together to get the job done

if i were to make this recipe again some thing that i would do differently is. not cut the vegetables so thin because it was a little difficult to bread them .

in conclusion this was a fun recipe to make and i wouldnt mind making this recipe again.

i thought that this went well even though some of us got carried away.
this was new to me because i hadn't ever eaten a veggie burger in my life before
i thought that they tasted all right not something i would want to eat every day.

i took a tinny taste of all of them and i found that the m&m meats patty had a better texture but did not taste as good as they griller. they M&M meats patty had a texture that more resembled meat. i did not care for the home maid ones at all so.


if i had to pick one out of they bunch i would go with the griller's because they cook faster then they others and they tasted better even though there texture is not as nice.

i chose a caeser salad. tortilla chips plain. hamburger with cheese and catchup with lemonade and baked potato wedges. i calculated that this is what i would get out of this meal nutrition wise

continue of picnic thing for the seventh gradder.

i figured out that for lunch this seventh grader consumed 3 1/2 servings of fruits and vegetables for lunch
along with 1/2 servings of grain product and 1/2 serving of meat product.

so to have they amount of different food groups that is recommended by the Canadian health guide
he should eat for breakfast.

a cup of orange juice a apple a bowel of whole grain cereal and a slice of whole grain bread with maybe an egg.

and for dinner he should eat a serving of vegetables and 3 1/2 servings of rice and a slice of roast beast and three glasses of milk.

this would give him the recommended servings of all the food groups all tho he would be eating a cuzzilian calories.

so in order to balance this out i would get him to run for hours to burn of all theys calories.
